Good value, recommend. Affable staff, fairly quiet and big size room, located a short walk to a subway station. Easy access to Amore Donuts, just 15 minutes walk. Excellent service overall. Bonus points for a handy kitchenette.
Bad free Wi-Fi.

Nicest place we stayed on our European trip.
When we arrived at approx. 9 pm there was no staff to check us in. It took us approximately 90 minutes to get in. However this mishap we had a great stay and the staff ended up being extremely helpful.

Lovely kitchen in the original property.
Not great. I have the sense that the guardian spirit of Gli Artisti has gone walkabout and needs to come home soon. One wall in the kitchen is covered with letters of praise written to someone called Alessandro, dating from about 2007/8. We weren't very lucky but we did get a part refund, which we were grateful for and should be acknowledged here. Our booking was mismanaged, so that when we arrived we were given the choice of the room we originally booked, which would need some work on the part of the staff in moving the occupants' possessions, or staying in another room for the first three days. The offer to move the stuff was a bit half-hearted, so we made the wrong choice and agreed to the other room in the much less nice new part of the property. We then had to move a day earlier than we were told - half good, half bad. No wifi signal in the new bit was a real bummer. When the angel returns he needs to descale the shower heads, replace the plug in the sink, make sure there's a rubbish bin in each room, clean the nozzle of the coffee machine (and buy some coffee worthy of a Gaggia!), fix the wifi (in the extension) and fix the broken toilet flush - for starters - and bring back the original spirit of the place. We also happened to coincide with a loud and joyful LA/Toronto/Manila family reunion that occupied the shared kitchen space ....

the hotel's location.
We were suprised that our bathroom was not inside our room! That was not good at all! The breakfast was very basic and without even fresh bread.

Very clean and nice room with a very comfortable bed. The owners, Alessandro is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice but not amazing. The location was outstanding, 5-10 mins walk from Vatican and lots of nearby restaurants.
The shower was in a bath and there was no curtain / glass so water went everywhere. Not a big problem though.

We liked the design of the room and the comfortable bed. The hotel was close to the subway but far away from the city center.
The first impression of the hotel was terrible. we checked in at 21:45 and the check in ending at 21:30 and they charged us for this 20 euro. There was nobody from the staff at the intire hotel so there was no feeling of security or somebody to ask for information...The rooms was no soundproff. There was a machine in the hall and when someone use the hot water it was noisy like a broken hairdryer. In morning we hearing in every detail what were happenig in the kitchen, in the restaurant, and in every bathroom of the others rooms. We stayed there for 5 nights they didnt clean the room at all and they only changed one day the towels.

The B&B is located in a fantastic location. Alessandro was helpful and courteous. I really liked the furnishing of the room--simple, but with nice touches, comfortable bed, ample towels, and very clean. The hotel building appears very secure, and the separate dining area for the rooms is nice.
The breakfast was served at 8:30 a.m. and unfortunately we had to leave right before it was served so we did not get a chance to enjoy it. I would have preferred the breakfast to be served a little earlier.
